The group successfully accelerated its expansion strategy, achieving prestigious awards and creating exceptional guest experiences across Asia.

With 19 distinct brands ranging from economy to luxury, BWH Hotels is now able to meet the needs of guests and developers in every sector of the market. This diversity is driving a new era of growth for the company, focusing on a series of key strategic markets in Asia, including Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Vietnam and the Philippines.

BWH Hotels’ strong development in Bangkok and Central Thailand
In Thailand, BWH Hotels made its debut in the popular resort town of Hua Hin, added a second hotel in Pattaya, and increased its portfolio in Bangkok with three new hotels. This reaffirmed its position as one of the Thai capital’s leading hospitality companies, with 10 properties. The rebranding of Tawa Ravadee Resort in Prachinburi as a WorldHotels Distinctive member also reflects the ability of this expanded brand collection to adapt to expectations.

An eye on Japan
Japan is another key market, and BWH Hotels has celebrated three important openings. These include the country’s first BW Signature Collection by Best Western in culture-rich Kyoto, and two new WorldHotels members at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport, which added more than 1,700 keys to Japan’s busiest aviation hub.

Introducing Surestay Studio in Clarkview and BW Signature Collection in West Java
Southeast Asia’s first SureStay Studio hotel opened its doors in Clarkview, one of three new hotels in the Philippines, and Indonesia’s inaugural BW Signature Collection hotel opened in an up-and-coming area of West Java. More recently, in Vietnam, a new Best Western Premier hotel in Nha Trang joined the tourism scene in this beachfront city, including a rooftop bar overlooking the ocean.

BWH Hotels’ success in 2023 has not gone unnoticed: the company retained its place in TTG Asia’s prestigious “Travel Hall of Fame: Best Mid-Range Hotel Brand” once again. The company also achieved the “Best Midscale Hotel Chain – Asia Pacific” title at the Travel Weekly Asia Readers’ Choice Awards for the ninth consecutive year and has been nominated in Lifestyle + Travel Magazine and Now Travel Asia Magazine.

Looking ahead, BWH Hotels will continue to expand in key cities and resort areas, as well as emerging business and leisure destinations all across Asia, aiming to become one of the region’s most loved and trusted hospitality companies.
