How best to sell Guam to Asian travellers? “By telling them that we are a piece of the United States next to their home,” says Gabbie Franquez, Senior Marketing Manager for Guam Visitors Bureau.

Guam has been faithful to ITB Asia since the beginning. “Our presence here is important as 80% of our international arrivals come from Asia,” explains Ms Franquez. The destination highlights the “American way of life” with an Asian touch offering luxury resorts, surfing, diving, duty-free shopping as well as quaint villages to explore in the South of the island.
