Thrilling immersive spaces at Singapore Discovery Centre
For ITB Asia visitors with little time to get to know Singapore, the Singapore Discovery Centre (SDC) is an experience-rich and fun way to learn more about the city-state’s history through immersive journeys.
Located in the Jurong district, west of the metropolis, the Singapore Discovery Centre provides an engaging, multi-sensory learning experience covering a selection of integrated themes. By visiting the SDC, guests learn about what makes Singapore tick, plus its challenges, dreams and aspirations.
The SDC is ideal for MICE activities, and visits are also available on a private basis. It offers excellent indoor and outdoor venues that are ideal for a wide variety of events such as family days, seminars, training, weddings, private parties, product launches and more.
Among its attractions, visitors will find two permanent exhibition galleries with immersive experiences looking into Singapore’s past, present and future. The Permanent Exhibits Galleries are also suitable for cocktail receptions, product launches, press conferences, etc…
The Black Lake facility takes visitors into a multi-sensorial escape room adventure across 13 rooms and 4 story chapters – the largest of its kind in Singapore. The Black Lake Laser Battlefield allows people to experience the most immersive laser tag area in town, a perfect team building activity. XD Theatre is another immersive attraction with advanced state-of-the-art technology which gives visitors a 4D simulation ride. Iwerks Theatre is Singapore’s largest flat-screen theatre featuring 2D and 3D giant screen movies. Visitors will enjoy the challenges of Singapore’s first multi-tiered Paintball Arena! The challenging activity, coupled with state of the art replica Bravo 1 rifles, delivers an experience that is as demanding as it is exciting.
To finish on a more relaxed note, Pedal Boat at Discovery Lake offers an opportunity to ride on a pedal boat around the tranquil Discovery Lake and connect with Singapore’s nature…
