BWH Hotels in Asia-Pacific: “Meaningful experiences in vibrant local neighbourhoods”
BWH Hotels has continued the expansion and evolution of its business across Asia-Pacific in 2026. Visitors to ITB Asia can learn more about the new hotels, residences, and development opportunities across the region at the company’s stand.
A defining milestone in 2026 was BWH’s expansion in Vietnam with the introduction of the first WorldHotels Branded Residences, marking its entry into the branded residential sector. This growth was complemented by the opening of Imperial Dalat Hotel, BW Premier Collection, a refined retreat in Da Lat that further strengthened the brand’s presence in one of Asia’s most sought-after highland destinations. Another key achievement was the debut of the first Aiden-branded hotel in Southeast Asia, introducing the personality-driven boutique brand to the region.
Aiden Surawong Bangkok is a stylish boutique hotel in one of Bangkok’s most culturally rich neighborhoods, marking the launch of the design-led Aiden brand in Southeast Asia. Commenting on the milestone, Olivier Berrivin, Vice President – APAC, BWH Hotels, said: “The debut of Aiden in Thailand demonstrates our commitment to meeting the needs of a new generation of savvy travellers. They are seeking more than just a gateway destination; they are looking for connection, lifestyle, and meaningful experiences in vibrant local neighbourhoods.”
Expansion continued in Pakistan with the opening of Best Western Murree, a mountain retreat in the popular hill station of Murree. Nestled among scenic hills near Islamabad, the newly built property features 63 non-smoking guestrooms and family suites designed to meet growing demand for leisure and domestic travel.
Pioneering a new era of international hospitality in the Philippines, Best Western Plus Pulsar Cagayan became the first internationally branded hotel in the Cagayan Valley. The newly built property provides travellers with a gateway to one of Luzon’s most picturesque and emerging destinations.
In Thailand, SureStay by Best Western Siriraj Bangkok opened as a brand-new hotel designed to serve a diverse mix of guests, from urban explorers seeking short breaks to medical travellers requiring extended stays. The portfolio was further strengthened with the opening of Best Western Q Khon Kaen, a newly rebranded and fully renovated hotel that offers an ideal base for discovering Isaan, the country’s culturally rich “Rice Bowl.” Looking ahead, the upcoming opening of W1@Bangkoknoi Hotel and Wellness Resort, WorldHotels Distinctive, will further enhance the collection’s presence in the market, introducing a wellness-focused hospitality experience that blends contemporary comfort with holistic well-being.
Beyond these openings, BWH Hotels and its partners continue to create new opportunities across Asia-Pacific through strong collaboration, agility, and a steadfast commitment to delivering exceptional value for owners, guests, and stakeholders.
