Kenya bridges business and leisure at ITB Asia 2025
Bleisure (business+leisure) is becoming increasingly popular across the tourism industry. Travellers are looking to extend their business trips to optimise travel time, and many companies are encouraging them to do so as an argument for added-value in a professional context.
Kenya is targeting this market by seamlessly blending experiences and attractions (for example world-class safaris and pristine beaches) with a robust MICE ecosystem. Different parks throughout the country offer different safari experiences. At the Maasai Mara visitors can witness the great wildebeest migration, while they can see elephants with a backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli. Coastal gems include Diani, Watamu, and the UNESCO-listed Lamu Old Town and Nairobi provides easy access to Nairobi National Park and the Giraffe Centre.
On the business side of the equation, the iconic Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi offers flexible space and a proven track record international events. A wide range of international hotel brands including Marriott, Hilton and IHG support conferences with room blocks and meeting facilities. MICE travellers can easily extend trips to include safaris or beach holidays. Visitors to ITB Asia 2025 can get more details on the KICC stand.
