Good morning to all,
We are experiencing a fabulous ITB Asia 2022. Everywhere you look, the alleys and stands are bustling with visitors and the conferences are drawing large crowds. Safe to say, the first face-to-face post-pandemic show edition is a real success. Numbers speak for themselves. The show welcomes over 80 National Tourism Organisations (NTOs) and Regional Tourism Organisations.
More than 100 sessions are taking place over the three days, linked to the core theme of “Go Big & Go Forward: Travel Industry on the Road to Recovery and Growth.” With more than 180 leading industry speakers and innovators, over 3,950 minutes of high-powered content is being presented across three conference platforms: Knowledge Theatre, MICE Show Asia & Travel Tech Asia. The conference programme has been specially curated to support the travel industry and address topics that are critical to the future of MICE, corporate travel, leisure travel and travel technology.
The show continues today with all of the tools needed to facilitate business appointments, while again providing some high-level conference sessions. This morning at 10 am, a not to be missed session taking place at the Knowledge Theatre is dedicated to “Reactivating Travel through adventure”, presented by Hannah Pearson, Regional Director Asia of the Adventure Travel Trade Association.
Later today, the focus will shift towards markets such as health tourism and sports tourism, for instance at 12:00 with the session on Thailand: The Best Sports Tourism Destination, animated by Dr. Gongsak Yodmani from the Sports Tourism Authority of Thailand. These events are sure to serve as a source of inspiration for the industry.
Have a wonderful day at ITB Asia and see you again in 2023.
