Sentosa, Singapore’s holiday island, launches new experiences and packages

Attracting some 19 million Singaporeans and tourists annually, Sentosa continues to go from strength to strength as the region’s most dynamic tourism hub.

The 500-hectare resort island of Sentosa is home to more than 30 themed attractions, some 120 food & beverage outlets, golden sandy beaches, 17 hotels with more than 4,000 rooms, two premier 18-hole golf courses, a deep-water yachting marina, lush greenery and more.

As part of the SingapoRediscovers campaign, a range of new and attractively priced leisure packages and experiences have been rolled out to encourage the local residents to visit Sentosa. From Singapoliday staycation packages to daycation deals for those who just wants take a breather and escape to the island for a day, these new offerings feature itineraries themed around Island Life, Heritage Discovery, Wellness Escape, and Nature Adventure.

For example, one of the Island Life staycation packages includes a unique tea tailoring experience and a private three-hour yacht trip to the Southern Islands, among other experiences. For visitors looking for a treat, Wellness Escape packages offers bundles such as 90min massage at So SPA by Sofitel and a 4-course set meal at Quentin’s Bar and restaurant. Sentosa is also inviting visitors to indulge in a celebration on the island, offering romantic Sunset and City light packages which includes attractions such as the Singapore Cable Car and The Royal Albatross.

These new and refreshing offerings are part of Sentosa and its Island Partners continuous efforts to entice and grow the domestic market segment.

Latest addition of dining outlets and attraction to the island

Visitors can live the high life at 1-V:U, Southeast Asia’s latest rooftop lifestyle destination: When it comes to soaking up the sun and celebrating every one of life’s moments, where better than at Sentosa island’s latest rooftop lifestyle destination, 1-V:U. Perched atop the roof of The Outpost Hotel, the premier day-to-night beachfront playground features an al fresco pool deck and a smart-casual progressive Asian Restaurant helmed by Chef Ace Tan.

1-V:U leads the progression of South-East Asian beach club culture by being the first of many of its kind: It is the country’s first concept to occupy the entire rooftop of a luxury hotel property, as well as being Sentosa Island’s first and only rooftop vibe dining destination. Overlooking the Palawan Beach and stunning views of the Singapore Straits, 1-V:U with its roof top restaurant, al fresco deck and infinity pool is the perfect oasis for all sun-seekers and epicureans seeking an escape from the city.

Rumours Beach Club: A highly popular bar & grill from Bali, Rumours now opens its first beach club concept at Sentosa. Bringing its Bali beach experience with 3 swimming pools, the venue is suitable for get-togethers from private romantic dinners to full-fledged wild parties.

Meanwhile, visitors are invited to climb, slide, leap and bounce their way through HydroDash, Singapore’s very first floating aqua park. Designed to be fun for everyone, the inflatable playgrounds are a family friendly attraction offering activities and excitement for all ages.
