Wyndham is back at ITB Asia 2020 Virtual this year with a large number of new properties.
Opened in July 2020, the Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Dolsan Yeosu, located on Dolsan Island overlooking Hallyeosudo, is the first hotel in Asia to offer a zip-line from the top of its building.
Located on the hotel’s rooftop on the 24th floor, 120m above the sea, guests can take the plunge and zip down the 1.2km wire for an exhilarating adventure while admiring breath-taking views of the Yeosu Sea.
The 427-room hotel offers stunning views of Hallyeosudo and boasts an excellent array of facilities for travellers with three dining outlets, including a rooftop lounge serving international cuisine and an extensive selection of wines and spirits, a heated infinity pool boasting spectacular ocean view, as well as spacious banquet halls with state-of-the-art facilities for meetings and events. Around the hotel, guests can also discover many attractions such as the marine aquarium, sky tower, Expo Digital Gallery and Yeosu Expo Ocean Park.
First global hotel chain opening in Gumi: Ramada by Wyndham
Having opened in September, the 213-room Ramada by Wyndham Gumi is centrally located in Gumi, South Korea’s largest inland industrial complex, and is the first global hotel chain offering in the city.
Situated close to corporate offices, the hotel is an ideal location for travellers on business, and will provide a range of comfortable accommodation including 36 spacious suites, and a business lounge.
In the first half of the year, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts directly signed 59 new hotels – more than the same period in 2019 – a clear signal from industry partners and hotel owners in their continued confidence in the hospitality business. This year, the group opened two new hotels in Japan, located in Awashima and Naigaizumi, and in Thailand, upcoming openings include four new hotels across four brands in Bangkok – all centrally located in Sukhumvit.
