The Best Western Plus Nexen, Pattaya opened this month as the first BWH entry into this buzzing Thai holiday destination.
Best Western is one of Thailand’s leading international hotel groups, with 14 hotels and resorts now operating across the Kingdom, including key destinations such as Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai, and up-and-coming locations in Buriram and Prachinburi.
Nestled in Pattaya’s Naklua district, surrounded by local attractions, the new Best Western Plus Nexen is a modern midscale hotel that blends “eye-catching design and exceptional amenities with warm, genuine service”.
BWH hopes to open two more hotels in Pattaya in Q1 2021: Best Western Premiere Bayphere, Pattaya, & BW Premier Collection hotel, BluPhere Pattaya.
Meanwhile, the group’s upscale Bangkok property, The Carlton Hotel Bangkok, the first World Hotel to open in Thailand, closed during the Covid-19 lockdown, re-opened in July 2020. Carlton Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit is one of the most luxurious new five-star hotels in Bangkok. Stylish and contemporary, the hotel offers 338 rooms and suites, a choice of renowned dining venues including the signature Cantonese restaurant, Wah Lok, and a chic rooftop bar with panoramic views of the cityscape.
BWH’s business development team has signed 11 new properties in Asia so far this year: one in Japan, three in Pakistan, three in the Philippines, and four in Vietnam.
