A slice of Hawaii in Singapore

Plenty of fun in the sun is in store for visitors to Ola Beach Club, Singapore’s most comprehensive watersports beach club.

Situated along Siloso beach, Ola Beach Club, launched in November 2016 is Singapore’s only all-encompassing Hawaiian-themed lifestyle venue catering for guests of all ages. Christina Tran, Chief Enjoyment Officer at Ola Beach Club, says: “Ola is the ideal urban escape from the hectic city life. Ola truly lives up to its promise of excitement, pleasure and enjoyment from sunrise to sunset.”

Daytime activities run the gamut of water sports featuring Singapore’s first and only water-propelled jet jack and jet blade for the adventurous, and fun kiddy water rides for the little ones; while an all-day Hawaiian-inspired menu provides sustenance.

In the day, guests can bask in the bright and sunny venue that overlooks the lagoon and enjoy cool sea breezes in the open space; sprawl on a day bed and get a tan, sip a cocktail at the bar, jump into Ola’s swimming pool to cool off or simply grab a bite.

At dusk, Ola transforms into a romantic destination with its fairy lights swaying between the palm trees, which is best admired from the second-floor balcony (open on Thursdays to Sundays only).

Tran says: “In Honolulu, Hawaii, where I’m from, beachside venues often cater to the whole family, and that’s what I wanted to do as well — create an all-inclusive, fun- filled seaside destination that seamlessly melds food, drink, water sports and music”
